For the film about the development process of EGE’s carpet design together with Raumkontor, we created a visual insight into the creation of a distinctive product. At the center is the EGE carpet itself – as the design outcome of an intensive and creative process.

The film shows how, through close collaboration between EGE and Raumkontor, a design emerges that goes far beyond traditional product development. From the initial idea through material and color concepts to the final realization, it becomes clear how much conceptual depth and design work is embedded in the carpet. Particular emphasis is placed on the interplay of function, aesthetics, and atmosphere: the carpet is understood not merely as a product, but as a defining element within space that creates identity and shapes environments. The entire development process is made tangible – precise, craft-driven, and at the same time highly creative.
